A new tell-all book about the Trump White House revealed many of the president’s stranger requests — including a truly bizarre one he made to Disney.
The Daily Beast reported that in his new book Team of Vipers, former White House aide Cliff Sims revealed that Trump tried to get Disney to allow him to claim America had invented the skyscraper.
Soon after he was elected president in 2016, “a Disney crew was dispatched to the White House to record the new president’s voice, which would be played through an animatron at Disney World’s Hall of Presidents.”
The “typical right of passage for a new president” excited Trump — and he “wanted his robotic likeness to tell Disney-goers that Americans had invented the skyscraper and to remind them of his own career in real estate,” the report noted.
