Are Republican smears against Soros fanning anti-Semitism in America?

The Republicans' U.S. Senate candidate Susan Hutchison delivered a whopper in her debate with Sen. Maria Cantwell, unless she has a private pipeline on activities of a Hungarian-American financier.

She raised the subject of demonstrations in Washington D.C. against confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and said: "I know a lot of these people are paid by George Soros, who has contributed to my opponent Maria Cantwell."

How did she "know?" Of course, she didn't. Hutchison was simply repeating the latest lie told by President Trump in demonizing his opponents.

Three groups of demons have been singled out -- critics who are Jews, the "fake" mainstream news media, and the increasingly irrelevant Clintons.

Of course, in the wake of the pipe bombs and synagogue massacre, the 45th President has pledged to "unite to conquer." Daughter Ivanka Trump is a convert to the faith of her husband Jared Kushner. They are observant.

Still, there are ugly signs out there.

On Friday, after the alleged pipe bomber had been apprehended -- but before the Pittsburgh massacre -- House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted:

"We cannot allow Soros, Steyer and Bloomberg to BUY this election: Get out and vote Republican this November."

claim its not antisemitism, but to paraphrase Andrew Gillum - their antisemite followers and fans sure think it is.
