Ex-Aide to Roger Stone Subpoenaed in Mueller Probe

A former aide to Roger Stone, an adviser to President Donald Trump, was subpoenaed to appear in front of a grand jury in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and “hand over documents,” The New York Times reports. Andrew Miller reportedly helped Stone “arrange media interviews” and do other tasks during the 2016 presidential campaign. Miller’s lawyer said he planned to file a motion Thursday arguing Mueller’s appointment “was unconstitutional” as a means of firing back against the subpoena. Stone has been a subject of interest in Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, as he “foreshadowed the released by WikiLeaks of information damaging to the Hillary Clinton campaign,” the Times reports.
