Congress and President Trump put politics ahead of smart reform.

Last month a Wall Street Journal editor asked a room full of CEOs to raise their hands if the corporate tax cut being considered in Congress would lead them to invest more. Very few hands went up. Attending was Gary Cohn, President Donald Trump's economic adviser and a friend of mine. He asked: "Why aren't the other hands up?"

Allow me to answer that: We don't need the money.

Great article. It is such a blatant ripoff from the lower and middle classes. Yet the Republicans still want to move forward. I think Ryan knows either way they are screwed therefore planting the seeds of leaving.

1. This bill is disaster economics -"shock doctrine" - to push for more privatization ...

and aid in the financial restructing of social security, medicare and a host of other federal programs. I wish Bloomberg would call it what it really is.
