I just saw the most stupid statement by a politician this week (trumps tweets excluded)

When talking about the Senate Tax bill delaying the corporate tax cuts until 2019- a really dumb house member said this:

"It would mean that the economy wouldn't improve like it needs to so we would lose the majority in the House and Senate, but the Democrats would take power just in time to take credit for the economy improving because of what the Senate did," Rep. Louie Gohmert, a hardline conservative from Texas, told reporters Thursday.

ROFL- is he kidding? When has a Democrat ever taken back control of our government from destructive repuglicans and an economy that was doing well? Like, NEVER. What a moron.

To blame it all on the dastardly Dems. His shit for brains voters will lap it up.

If I was a Democratic Senator or Rep I would be going apeshit all over the media, screaming about how many working and middle class Americans the Republican Party are going to kill as a result of this, all to give a trillion dollars to Wall Street, the mercers and the Billionaire class.

Never underestimate the inability of the American voter to understand basic economics.

Learned that lesson when they elected Ronald Raygun and they grow more stupid by the election cycle.
