It's my choice and it's my freedom. That's what liberty is.

Now comes Roy Moore, the former Alabama Supreme Court chief justice, twice removed from office because he refused to follow the law. Like the president and the vice president, he too must grandstand over standing for the flag.

"It's against the law, you know that?" Moore told Time magazine, opining on the professional football players who have taken a knee during the National Anthem to protest police brutality. "It was a act of Congress that every man stand and put their hand over their heart. That's the law."

If he said this, and he is elected to our Senate, then I give up. I will just sit on the sidelines and watch this place burn to the fucking ground. Because I dont see ANY other outcome.

The law says you should stand for the flag, not shall. Big difference.
