Ivanka Trump has spoken little about her faith, but she is undeniably Americas most powerful Jewish

I have not read the articles but thought this would be of interest to some. I generally pass over articles with her name. Just do not have an interest.

She is a spineless shameless self promoter & shoe "designer". No credit to the tribe. Wish she'd just go away quietly. Maybe Russia.

The "undeniably" adds a whole new, indefensible layer to it. Arguably? Sure. Probably? Disagree but opinion. Undeniably? False.

Ivanka Trump: America's most powerful Jewish woman
The First Daughter's unique role at a time of rising anti-Semitism

Donald Trump's presidency provides few moments of tranquility. But last week, amid roaring controversies that threaten her father's administration, Ivanka Trump took in a quiet moment of prayer and reflection at the Western Wall, one of the holiest sites in Judaism.

Her visit was striking for two reasons. It was a rare moment in which the First Daughter's carefully guarded faith was on public display. And it underscored the unique role she plays in an administration that has faced criticism for not confronting anti-Semitism.

Ivanka is arguably the most powerful Jewish woman in America today, someone who has long had a special influence on her father (though doesn't always win him over) and is now settling in as an unpaid adviser to the President. Her commitment to faith contrasts with Trump, whose outward religious practice has been much more limited. But one question looming over Ivanka is how -- or whether -- she will use her status at the top of the new Washington to guide a national conversation about the rising number of threats to Jewish community centers and places of worship.

So far, she's taking a characteristically cautious approach........................

"Most powerful Jewish fascist enabler" was all I could come up with.

It is, or appears to me to be a racist and insensitive comment.
I am a Jewish woman.
Who was the most powerful woman Christian or Muslim fascist enabler ?
Does it matter?

And while I am not a fan of it, I am not one to question her faith, although I do question her ethics. I believe she cares about the environment, her faith, but she can't convince her father to embrace Judaism or environmental awareness.

I know most of us have relatives we dislike, or disapprove of, who we wish we could influence or change, and sometimes we can.
If not, we abandon them or stand by to put out fires and pick up pieces as they live their lives and screw others along the way. And sometimes we turn them in, or aid them in their carnage.

I have to believe that she hoped to keep him calm (ha), focused in important issues, to whatever degree she was able. Whether she enables him or calms him, her religion has nothing to do with it. Except she's out of touch for 24 hours during Shabbat, and there are always jokes about how much worse he is when that happens.

There's Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan to begin with...

IT has no influence on her father other than to give the appearance that Trump isn't the piece of shit everyone with any active brain cells knows he is.

And said cover and/or appearance isn't working.

The only difference between Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump is their hair stylists.

"undeniably" ? Only if you're in denial.

Now, had they said prominent, they would have a point. Ivanka Trump does stand out as clueless and tone-deaf. But only to the rest of us. In her family, clueless and tone-deaf are genetic traits.

"So far, she's taking a characteristically cautious approach."

Oh, yeah. She has been cautious. Cautious to appear like she gives a damn when she really doesn't.

Am really not interested one bit about whether you can - metaphysically (is that the right word? Probably not) - change your religion from one system of beliefs to another, especially regarding Orthodox Judaism, but this family has shown itself to be the World Leader in hypocrisy and lying. It is a lifestyle choice for wealthy (largely US ) women, as important as Madonna's zig-zagging or whether todAy you wear Gucci or D & G.
Plus she marriedinto a family of Orthodox Jews; that helps.
If the Kutchner Clan had been Orthodox Muslims that would have been interesting; after all, they are both branches of this cursed Abrahamic Middle-Eastern bloc.

Her 'faith' is about as skin-deep as her father's suntan, and about as genuine.
