Barack Obama has been named the forthcoming recipient of the coveted John F Kennedy Profile in Courage Award.

The 44th US President will follow in the footsteps of George HW Bush, black civil rights leader John Lewis and, the 2016 honouree, Connecticut governor Dan Malloy.

Mr Kennedy’s daughter Caroline Kennedy and her son Jack Schlossberg will hand over the trophy, which is a sterling silver lantern designed by Ms Kennedy’s husband, on 7 May at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston.

The award is presented annually by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation to public servants who have made courageous decisions of conscience without regard for personal or professional consequences.

3. I agree... to hell with the American people.

What is wrong with him?? Is he that totally unaware that a POTUS is supposed to help the American people?? Wouldn't it somehow dawn on him that President Obama is being honored for his accomplishments for a reason?? No one can be this self-absorbed...

4. Trump seems incredibly jealous of Obama...

Obama has things that Trump longs for but deep (okay very VERY deep) inside he knows he's lacking. Things money can't buy like... real class, a wife and children that obviously and faithfully adore him (and he them), the true respect and affection of millions of people around the world, a sense of humor, a bone deep joy of life and a certain 'sexiness' that comes from being not just a good looking man but a true alpha type.

Obama has earned his honors... Trump has had to bullshit and buy his way and sell his soul for any he has.
