We're going to Dillards! Trump supporters shut down their Nordstrom accounts

A gang of Trump-voters posted a video of themselves shutting down their Nordstrom accounts in protest over the store's decision to dump the Ivanka Trump brand.
The department store announced on February 3, it would stop selling Donald Trump's daughter's fashion line, citing poor sales.
But sources close to Ivanka claimed Nordstrom 'couldn’t handle the political pressure, someone new came in, and there was a change in the attitude toward the brand.'
The decision sparked fury among Trump voters and with the Donald himself who tweeted that his daughter 'has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person - always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!'
Now a group of conservative shoppers have decided to boycott the Seattle-based store in protest.

So I called Dillard's to confirm whether the store carries his daughter's merchandise . . . and promptly cancelled my account! 🙂

If they are wealthy Trump supporters, they'll never find the kinds of clothes and accessories comparable to Nordstroms. Or are most of them just occasional shoppers that opened an account to save 20% off their first purchase and never used the acct again.

These idiots are going to boycott themselves into a corner where they won't be able to listen to anything but Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith, eat Chik-fil-A and shop at Walmart.

8. Agreed - we were having lunch and laughing when we read the article. There were 4 of us with both

a Dillard's and a Nordstroms card. We decided to cancel our Dillard's cards to symbolically put balance back into the universe! My problem with these financial boycotts is that they rarely achieve their goals. My problem with his daughter and his sons is that I feel they are trying to cash in during his administration - they are blatantly crass commercialism. She wanted to sell the dress she wore to the GOP convention and her bracelet from the inauguration! Whatever happened to wanting to be of service to others? Not something being practiced for the next 4 years.

There is no other place to get those kinds of styles in that price point. You either need to go higher or lower. So if they truly were loyal Nordstrom shoppers, they'll slink back.

12. Is Nordstroms expensive?

I've never stepped foot in the store but I have received over a dozen really nice Nordstroms dress sports shirts as gifts over the years, and love them. They are like, twenty and thirty years old but they are really nice and timeless and have never gone out of style.
