Famous Anthropologist Says Trump Behaves Like a Male Chimpanzee
Washington, Sep 19 (Prensa Latina) The famous anthropologist Jane Goodall said that Donald Trump''s eccentricities remind her of the rituals of power of the chimpanzees that she has studied for years, The Huffington Post reported on its website.
'In many ways the performances of Donald Trump remind me of male chimpanzees and their dominance rituals,' she said.
'In order to impress rivals, males seeking to rise in the dominance hierarchy perform spectacular displays: stamping, slapping the ground, dragging branches, throwing rocks,' the expert added.
According to Goodall, 'the more vigorous and imaginative the display, the faster the individual is likely to rise in the hierarchy, and the longer he is likely to maintain that position.'

(46,357 posts)The problem is that people with real authority have actually taken Smiths claims seriously. Famed British primatologist Jane Goodall, who has left any aspirations of respectability on these matters behind a while ago yet continues to enjoy some respect in certain circles, generously blurbed Smiths book (If you care about your health and that of your children, buy this book, become aware of the potential problems, and take action) and cited Smiths research extensively in her own Seeds of Hope (she also recommended a book on GM by Maharishi Institute executive vice president Steven M. Druker, who surprisingly enough has no scientific training either). Dr. Oz seems to be a fan as well despite being apparently aware of the problems with Smiths claims; that is less surprising, but still sad. And these are not the only examples even academic institutions seem to have fallen for Smiths work on occasion. A good but scary example is here.

As to Jeffrey Smith, here he is, at his current employer's "college."

Why has Jane Goodall destroyed her own credibility by latching on to Smith?
Could be any number of reasons, including Goodall simply getting into something she knows diddly squat about.
Linus Pauling thought he could cure cancer and the common cold with excessive vitamin c.
How'd that ever work out for him?

Why go to the trouble of trying to generate hostility? Is it that important to you?
