Katie Hopkins has heaped praise on Britain's richest 1% despite the Panama Papers row over global mass tax avoidance.

The professional loudmouth claimed wealthy, cunning people were needed because millions of Brits are so stupid they can't even work velcro.

Ex-Apprentice contestant Ms Hopkins waded in as Tory ministers led a backlash over the tax avoidance "witch hunt" against David Cameron .

The Conservative leader published details of his £1.3million income today in a move that will effectively force future PMs to do the same.
