"Look where our party schedules the debates. Same time as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"
on a Saturday." ~ Martin O'Malley
"For all their flaws and fakery, the Republican candidates have squared off frequently, at convenient hours and despite the menacing nimbus of Donald Trumps hair; the Democratic candidates have, in contrast, hidden in a closet.
"...The meeting of Democratic presidential candidates in a few days will be only the third.
"And whos going to watch it? Its on a Saturday night, when a political debate ranks somewhere between dialysis and a Milli Vanilli tribute concert as a desirable way to unwind." ~ Frank Bruni

(26,549 posts)There's some sort of sporting event with a kickoff at 8:30 on that same date, but I'm sure that won't affect viewership.

(4,458 posts)Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is the most effective "Republican" to ever manage the Dem Party...the losses are phenomenal. The fact she is Still there...strategically setting Dems up for more historic losses in 2016 suggests to me this was the plan.

(15,369 posts)about DWS on DU, it seems to have escaped the posters that Hillary's polling actually improves after each debate.
I have absolutely no problem with more debates being scheduled. I'd especially like to see MO'M get more time, for one thing.
But for supporters of other candidates to suggest that DWS (not one of my favorites, I must admit) is a Republican/Republican ally or has scheduled debates deliberately to enhance Hillary's candidacy is more than a bit silly.
Sheesh. Get a grip, people. Please.
