Is Caroline Kennedy seeking revenge on Hillary Clinton?

Take this with a huge heaping helping of salt (it's from Rupert Murdoch's nypost).

FWIW here it is...

Talk in Kennedy circles is that Caroline Kennedy is furious over the revelation that a longtime confidant of Hillary Clinton’s secretly sabotaged her bid to become a US senator — and Kennedy may seek her revenge by backing veep Joe Biden if he runs for president.

In June, leaked emails revealed that Hillary henchman Sidney Blumenthal had orchestrated news stories undermining Caroline while she was vying to be appointed to Hillary’s Senate seat in 2008.

Buzzfeed reported that Blumenthal had an arrangement with Tina Brown in which he could commission stories to be written for Brown’s Daily Beast, including two pieces critical of Kennedy, one referring to her as a “puppet” and the other describing her candidacy as an “insult.” Now, orbmagazine.com’s Richard Turley reports Kennedy is being urged by family to resign as US ambassador to Japan and endorse a Biden presidential bid.

Pointing out that Caroline has also had to endure attacks from Donald Trump, the magazine quotes a source: “Rather than stay in Tokyo and let the politicians continue to use her as a punching bag, it would be a profile in courage for her to come home and help elect the person she believes is best qualified to lead the nation.” ...

The Clintons, any one at that level, don't forget that stuff.

That's all you really need to know. You don't need extra speculation about how Caroline felt or didn't feel about Blumenthal working to derail her long-ago Senate bid.Frankly, it always felt to me that Caroline Kennedy was ambivalent about the prospect of becoming senator, at best, and she also (much as I like her) didn't come off that well in her almost-campaign; so I have a hard time envisioning Caroline harboring anger over the 6-year demise of her pseudo-candidacy..
My guess is that there already is little love lost between the Kennedy folks and the Clinton folks, and that was true long before those "revelations". (And I also think that they'd support the Democratic nominee, whoever it might be, including Clinton)
I could see that Caroline might be quite sympathetic to a Biden bid; but as for resigning her ambassadorship to campaign for him? That seems kind of silly, as there are plenty of other like-minded folks who could be equally consequential, or more, in supporting a Biden candidacy.

Obama even though Hillary had been political friends with them for a long time. It was a very unwelcome surprise to her, although supposedly they had never promised she would be their final choice. Obama did sort of rise out of nowhere to become a viable choice rather late, though.

from what I have heard. Political payback through Sidney Blumenthal sounds ugly.

of context as to be a lie. It just doesn't fit. And goodness knows I've known packs and packs of two-faced bigots. It's not that they aren't almost anywhere you look. But, still, it doesn't fit.

Forgot to mention also that someone close to me was with the Clintons as an observer during one of the campaigns and has many friends and contacts who've also associated with them. He's hardly an uncritical fan, but he doesn't find the various stories that have been floated over the years of Clinton as a not-so-closet Southern bigot credible.

Obama has no use for him due to SB's acts during '08 campaign. He requested of Hillary that Sid not have influence over HRC while she served as Sec. State. She ignored that and took advice (rumors) from him prior to the Benghazi tragedy.

No link, but remember from one of her Email dumps.

She values him - I think he is a troublemaker.

I've also seen posts on DU attacking RFK, Jr as anti-Hillary.
Maybe my question should be:
Why do the HC crowd dislike the Kennedys?

It may be worth remembering that Judy Smith of "Scandal" fame was hired to orchestrate the efforts to sabotage Caroline Kennedy...

Gov. Paterson's decision to go nuclear on Caroline Kennedy was a hatchet job run by a pricey out-of-state consultant who specializes in political scandals, disgruntled administration sources said.

Judy Smith, a Washington-based PR guru and former Bush White House deputy press secretary, orchestrated the ill-conceived character attack on Kennedy, sources said Sunday...
