Finally: Beer made from endangered whale testicles!

You know what's better than making a really unusual beer out of exotic ingredients? Pissing off conservationists by using bits of a creature that's already on the road to extinction in your brew.
According to IFL Science, that's exactly what a brewery in Iceland is doing. Their newest type of beer is made out of the testicles of fin whales smoked using dried sheep dung. A brew made from such exotic ingredients almost has to be good (after all, has a beer made from an animal's reproductive organs ever not been good?), but in this case, it's especially special.
You see, fin whales are listed as endangered on the IUCN red list of threatened species, with commercial whaling being responsible for the recent decline of its population. So not only is the ingredient of this new beer unusual and exotic, it's also helping to push one of nature's creatures closer to the brink of permanent irreversible death, completing the trifecta!
The product, which will henceforth be known as whale testicle beer, is being brewed by Icelandic brewery Stedji as part of its mid-winter Thorri festival, according to The Guardian. It comes one year after the same company produced a beer that contained whale meat, which one can only assume either went over well enough to inspire this year's more extreme product, or simply wasn't unique or extreme enough for true beer snobs.
