What you will hear defenders of the police say is “he was non-compliant.”

Non-compliant.

If a police officer tells you to do anything, you do it immediately. If you do not, anything that happens to you, up to and including death, is your problem.

The legal system exists, today, to ensure compliance.

And one may infer from the ramping up of the violence that our "owners" feel insecure, too.

2. And concentrating on brown

people has the added advantage of dividing those being exploited thereby rendering them less able to resist.

3. Bullies tend to focus on the weak.

And these guys are bullies, one and all of them. It's really all they have too, bullying and terrorizing the public, they have no argument, very few here actually favor the billionaires agenda, perpetual war, or our corrupt political and economic status quo.
