Romney tells Obama to 'start packing' in interview with Diane Sawyer

Source: ABC News

Acting very much like the Republican presidential nominee, Mitt Romney sent a curt message to President Barack Obama today: "Start packing."

The message, delivered with a chuckle, came in an exclusive interview with "World News" anchor Diane Sawyer who asked the presumptive GOP nominee if he had something to say to the president.

Romney said Obama's "policies have not helped the American people. They have not helped get jobs, they have not helped raise incomes and they've added trillions of dollars of debt."

He was backed by his wife of 43 years, Ann Romney, who told Sawyer she also had a message for Obama. "I believe it's... Mitt's time... It's our turn now," she said.

as a quip which garnered him the love of canadians during a leadership speeches. He lost that leadership race but won a few years later and became Prime Minister. Chretien mangled language but was incredible with the one liners and such. They always painted a astoundingly clear picture. Mitt's quip today seems very chretien-like to me.

Because we're one nation under God.

Of course, he has to throw that (and other religious stuff) out there to try and get the religious nutjobs on his side, but it's just another one of his, "I say this is true then 3 seconds later say something else is true," instances he's so good at.

If Michelle Obama had said that to John McCain during the 2008 election? Can you imagine the names she would have been called? Who the hell does Ann Romney think she is? "Our turn now"?????

Does she not remember the eight years that her GOP fucked up this nation? Just because Obama hasn't put it all back together - thanks to a republican House, she thinks it's their turn?

What an entitled bitch!
Hey Ann! Fuck you and the dressage horse you rode in on!!!

He was backed by his wife of 43 years, Ann Romney, who told Sawyer she also had a message for Obama. "I believe it's... Mitt's time... It's our turn now," she said.
