President Obama to speak at Boise State

BOISE -- President Barack Obama is scheduled to visit Boise State University in a road trip following his State of the Union address.

President Obama's State of the Union address is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20. He will then hit the road to discuss the themes from the State of the Union.

According to Regional Communications Director Keith Maley, the president will make an appearance in Boise on Wednesday, January 21 and will then travel to Lawrence, Kansas, on Thursday, January 22 to speak at the University of Kansas.

"We are honored and excited to host President Obama here at Boise State," Boise State president Bob Kustra said. "We know he will be impressed with our students and faculty and the innovative work and world-class research they are doing."
