CBS analyst Greg Anthony arrested, faces solicitation charge

Source: AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia police say CBS basketball analyst and former NBA player Greg Anthony has been arrested and charged with soliciting a prostitute.

Lt. Kelvin Cusick tells The Associated Press that Anthony was arrested at 5:46 p.m. on Friday. He said Saturday that Anthony faces a misdemeanor solicitation charge that's punishable by up to 180 days in jail.

Cusick says the 47-year-old Anthony was released Friday evening. No further details were available.

According to the NCAA website, Anthony was scheduled to announce the Michigan State-Maryland men's basketball game Saturday in nearby College Park, Maryland.

He should be suspended, but that is all. I am sure he is not the only one who has done this. Maybe a suspension will make him, and some others, clean up their acts.

At UNLV he was active in the Young Republicans, and has backed repugs running against the ACA in Nevada.

Think of all those people possibly having fun and deciding what to do with their own bodies. It could lead to anarchy and would remove far too many sticks from people's asses.

That's worked far better than making it legal. Also, keeping it illegal gives huge incentives for traffickers.
