Boy to school officials: Mom, sister dead at home

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Las Vegas police say the bodies of two people were found in a house after a 9-year-old boy told officials at a nearby school that his mother and sister were dead.

Investigators say they're questioning a man found covered in blood at the home.

Officer Marcus Martin told The Associated Press that police arriving around 9 a.m. Monday found two people dead inside the single-story house in an older, middle class neighborhood about eight miles north of the Las Vegas Strip.
