Hezbollah Chief: Extremists Harm Islam More Than Cartoons

BEIRUT (AP) — The leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah group says Islamic extremists have insulted Islam and the Prophet Muhammad more than those who published satirical cartoons mocking the religion.

Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah did not directly mention the Paris attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead, but he said Islamic extremists who behead and slaughter people — a reference to the IS group's rampages in Iraq and Syria — have done more harm to Islam than anyone else in history. Nasrallah spoke Friday via video link to supporters gathered in southern Beirut.

Nasrallah's Shiite group is fighting in Syria alongside President Bashar Assad. His remarks are in stark contrast to those of Sunni militants from the IS group and al-Qaida who have called for attacks on Western countries.

6. Sunni terrorists are an insult to Islam. To claim that a monarch has a divine right is the

antithesis of true spirituality. The Sunni terrorists are under the thumb of the Sauds who use them to drive up the price of oil, discourage democratic reforms and exterminate true Muslims.

It is time for the US to recognize that our true ally in the Middle East is Shiite Iran, not Saudi Arabia---no matter how much money the Saudis give to the Bush Family. However, I fear that the NeoCons are not done and they will try to install Brother Jeb for the purpose of launching a war against Iran and the Shiites intended to prop up the corrupt Saud Family. And with Citizens United, the Sauds can pay for Jeb's entire campaign. Because the Supreme Court has five members who are so enamored of monarchy that they ache to kiss the Saud's royal asses and declare them their kings, in the mistaken belief that any rich dictator is better than a democracy.

Watching W. use our military and squander our soldiers lives in order to do the bidding of an f---ing monarchy was disgusting . We are supposed to be a democracy. But, unless we act together , we will soon be the Sauds' puppets again.

I refuse to acknowledge a bunch of murderous monarchs as my lords and masters. And I won't send my son to die for them. If they want to fight, let them get off their fat pampered asses and get out there with guns themselves.

Sorry for the rant, but the Sauds are worthless parasites who deserve to go the way of Louis XVI more than Louis XVI deserved it. And they know it, which is why they resort to such murderous tactics to maintain their power.

No surprise to hear that either. ISIS has managed to unite Kurds, Hezbollah and Lebanese Christians so they're fighting together against ISIS. I'd put my money on Hezbollah kicking ISIS's arse.

They are not Muslims, from what I've heard. Sure, they may call themselves Muslims. They may pray towards Mecca and otherwise participate in traditionally Muslim rites, etc, but when people do horrible, murderous things, they are not terrorists.

Christians, on the other hand, are terrorists.

There are tens of millions of white, christian racists/bigots/homophobes/xenophobes here in america, are they terrorists?

Based on what we have seen I think so...

I know I have called them terrorists repeatedly...

So either they all are or none are.
