Neil deGrasse Tyson is Getting His Own Talk Show
Source: Time
Neil deGrasse Tyson is going to host National Geographics first ever late-night talk show.
The show will be called Star Talk, and the astrophysicist will host pop culture celebrities and science commentary from people like Bill Nye, the Washington Post reports.
Cosmos allowed us to share the awesome power of the universe with a global audience in ways that we never thought possible, Tyson said in a statement, according to the Post. To be able to continue to spread wonder and excitement through Star Talk, which is a true passion project for me, is beyond exciting.
The show is set to premiere in April.

(5,861 posts)I wish they went a little more in depth about quantum physics. Maybe they can do that with this show.

(15,805 posts)From the cheeky humor to the masterful stroke of the sword that cuts off the half baked complaints from his detractors, he made me laugh. The science lessons left me awestruck and craving more, so I'm looking forward to seeing him in a different format. As a bonus, more conservative heads will explode.
