France attack: Van driven into shoppers in Nantes

A van has been driven at shoppers at a French Christmas market in the city of Nantes and the driver is reported to have stabbed himself, officials say.

Ten people are reported to have been injured, five seriously.

The exact circumstances remain unclear, but the incident comes only a day after pedestrians were run down in Dijon.

The van driver in Monday's attack stabbed himself several times, causing himself serious injuries, a source close to the investigation told AFP news agency.

Nice to see the Anti Muslim rhetoric alive and well on these boards before the facts are all in.
Come on guys are you really buying into this shite?
Latest reports are saying "Allah akbar" was not uttered and he was a person mentally unwell that has had treatment 150 YES 150 times in the last 13 years.
If he was from another religion neither a word would be uttered.
Lets stop this rhetoric and start asking what drives someone to commit such an act and try to become part of the solution.
