The Kochs eclipse the RNC

Source: POLITICO.com

Meet the guys behind the right’s best data shop.
By Mike Allen and Kenneth P. Vogel

The Koch brothers and their allies are pumping tens of millions of dollars into a data company that’s developing detailed, state-of-the-art profiles of 250 million Americans, giving the brothers’ political operation all the earmarks of a national party.
The move comes as mainstream Republicans, led by Mitch McConnell, are trying to reclaim control of the conservative movement from outside groups. The Kochs, however, are continuing to amass all of the campaign tools the Republican National Committee and other party arms use to elect a president.

The Koch network also has developed in-house expertise in polling, message-testing, fact-checking, advertising, media buying, dial groups and donor maintenance. Add mastery of election law, a corporate-minded aggressiveness and years of patient experimentation — plus seemingly limitless cash — and the Koch operation actually exceeds the RNC’s data operation in many important respects.

“The Koch operations are the most important nonparty political players in the U.S. today, and no one else is even close,” said a top Republican who has been involved in the last eight presidential campaigns.

What have we allowed our Democracy to regress into? This organization is stronger than any news network or publication in the country.

These people are playing the long game, and they're winning. Which mean we are ALL losing.

What can we do?

And this is why we have CITIZEN UNITED and this corporation IS NOT in our best interests.
There father made millions off of communist state apparatus and everyday they have brought this collective forward apparatchik closer to there reality here in this country, and if someone comments that he left (father) because he saw what Stalin was doing, not going to happen, he made his money based on communist corruption.
AS bleeding heart liberal the Nation Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, American Prospect, Mother Jones have it right on these GUYS, and the first thing to do is take back the air waves, to stop the corporate propaganda.

What happens when they control everything? How can they get more? Won't that hurt them when there is nothing left to grab? Why comes first total control or dementia? What then?

The most cunning ,evil little kochs will inherit the republican party and the corporations that own the republican party.
They have sold their soul to the devil. He has come now to collect. I wonder what happens when the republican party becomes extremely un popular as it surely will. People hate the Kochs they are political poison. You did not hear a peep about them involved with any republican but they financed all of them down to stste reps and mayors and even school boards. Its crazy. All the dems have to do is point that out and they would win.
But then they hack the diebold voting machines anyway.

NSA does because these people are peddling influence and actually are employers for a large number of people.

Chris Hayes was just talking about this but he was just concerned about the dollars and the political game. All the slices and dices of information they are gathering did not seem to be concernng.

If they used their billions to, say, find a cancer cure, or hire folks, or even raise pay of their current employees, instead of buying pols to give them another tax break.

The only legacy these old men are interested in leaving behind is to have the most marbles at the end of their game.

Once a family has accumulated over 100 billion dollars, you would think that they would be concerned about something other than more wealth and more power.

Other posts mention the Republican party wanting to narrow the field to Christie, Romney, and Jeb Bush. The Kochs and their money probably want someone else.
