The force seems out of control and undisciplined. That kind of situation calls for new leadership.

Both from CNN. lol

Confirms
http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/28/us/ferguson-police-chief/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

Denies
http://www.cnn.com/video/standard.html?/video/us/2014/10/24/the-history-of-manhunts-alexandra-field-ts-orig.cnn&hpt=hp_c4&from_homepage=yes&video_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F

I think CNN wants to cover ALL the angles.

Eta:
I know the link says something about manhunts in Alexandria, but the video at the link is the chief denying that he will step down.

He was a ridiculous spokesperson from the beginning. I watched him and thought "your career is over".

He obviously has not made sure the police in his force are properly trained. He has allowed incomplete and late incident reports. He made statements and released irrelevant information that inflamed the situation rather than calmed it. He allows police on his force to threaten, attack and violate rights of citizens during peaceful demonstrations.

This police chief is one of the most incompetent officers I have ever seen. He should not only resign, he should climb in a hole and hide.
