I wish they had spent more on a much bigger stimulus and health reform. Debt isn't bad when its an investment in your country's infrastructure.

The rate the debt is growing has been slowing dramatically each year due to the tax increases and spending cuts.

the deficit is declining because of irresponsible policy that is adversely affecting the most vulnerable (UI and food stamps), and reduced investment in infrastructure, education, and regulatory agencies. i get that the rw will not give obama any credit, bit i am not exactly jumping for joy either.
