MPs Give Approval For UK Airstrikes In Iraq

Source: SKY News

MPs have overwhelmingly voted for airstrikes against Islamic State (IS) fighters in Iraq - meaning RAF bombing raids could take place in hours.

Parliament gave approval for Britain to join the US-led coalition after the Prime Minister said IS forces are "psychopathic terrorists trying to kill us".

David Cameron told the Commons debate that Islamic militants "have already murdered one British hostage" and are "threatening the lives of two more".

He described IS, which has invaded large areas of Syria and Iraq, as "a terrorist organisation unlike those we have dealt with before".

Like I said Far far Lefties and Libertarians on DU "you will find yourselves on the wrong side of history this time".

And their comparison of Obama to GWB is utter horseshit and ridiculous!

I guess it's OK to "condemn" things, but then again some here have a misguided sense of reality.

I have seen a poster refer to the president as "George W. Obama", and also read a post where the poster said we should stay out of the ME and just let the "assholes" kill each other, or course innocent bystanders will also get killed, but I guess for those that simply hate everything the president does, that's OK.

I am sure however that some of the same bunch that are attacking him no for going in to help those innocent people would be screaming at the top of their lungs "to" help them, if he sat back an did nothing.

against an organization created by agents of the very people who are leading the fight against it. This will do nothing but create more money for the MIC, which directed the creators of said organization. Tens of thousands of innocents will be killed merely as props to enrich the bully class. I have seen nothing as transparent or as disgusting as this in my 68 years of life. We deserve whatever befalls us.

Comparing the two is insane, and it should make people wonder just what kind of an agenda those who do this really have. I think anyone has the right to disagree on things that the president does, but way to many people here cross the line with their BS about him being the same as Bush.
