LINCOLN State Sen. Ernie Chambers of Omaha added his voice to those arguing that last weeks lieutenant governor ballot switch was illegal.
Chambers delivered a letter to Secretary of State John Gale on Monday, arguing that Gales decision to allow the switch amounted to an abuse of your office and violation of the public trust.
The veteran state senator, who holds a law degree from Creighton University, called on Gale to reverse his decision.
Today, an attorney for Mark Elworth Jr., the Libertarian candidate for governor, will ask the Lancaster County District Court to order the decision reversed.
