Suspect identified in Planned Parenthood bomb incident in Grand Chute

Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette

GRAND CHUTE — Police have identified the person who placed a homemade bomb that damaged Planned Parenthood’s Gillett Street clinic on Sunday night.

The man was identified after police reviewed surveillance footage. He was booked into the Outagamie County Jail on Tuesday evening on a probation violation. No charges have yet been referred to prosecutors.

“The focus today is to determine what else we can discover that might link this person to the situation,” Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson said.

behind bars (assuming he's convicted), the case being tried in county court - or in federal court?

Why is this being handled by local police, and not DHS? Where is the threshold differentiating a criminal bomb from a terrorist bomb?

for for more than 10 years, and why you try and destroy terrorists with the Dept. of Justice, instead of the United States FEDERAL FUCKING ARMY. But THAT, apparently, is a losing argument when so many of our fellow Citizens are just so....so....CONSERVATIVE? I guess, is the word I'm looking for? Whatever, this guy bombed an women's HEALTH center. For it, he might be prosecuted, but in the minds of his "compatriots" he will be a HERO. With their mouths, though, he will just be "some lone nut". Too bad, too, 'cause for them to actually come out and SAY what they think would make destroying their political goals SO much easier....but they know that too, I guess.

he was a lone actor, with no support, acting completely on his lonesome, probably never even chatted on the internet with another pro-lifer or was offered encouragement, resources, or other collusion by such upstanding citizens, and shame on anyone who might even dare to quietly think otherwise.

If the bomb had gone off and people were inside, he would be guilty of murder.

The 50-year-old man Brillion man was jailed early Tuesday for violating his probation, though police haven’t yet sought charges stemming from placement of the explosive and subsequent fire at the clinic. The man has a lengthy criminal history that includes cocaine possession and delivery, resisting or obstructing police, bail jumping and disorderly conduct.

Wound up by a "friend" - "set up" is closest of the options. Serious coke dealer would have smarts enough to not get jammed up on an "assaulting an officer" beef. And note the crash near another clinic - fool has issues with keepin' his shit together.

Does not make him less of a terrorist, though - "shoe bomber" Richard Reed was dumb as a stump.
