McCain frustrated with Obama on ISIS

The predations of the Islamist fundamentalist army known as ISIS occupied a lot of the senator's time with us, as you can imagine. More precisely, McCain's frustration with the lack of interest on the part of President Obama in addressing the rapidly spreading crisis the radicals are creating in Syria and, now, Iraq.

For illustration, he spoke of the president's speech on Wednesday in response to Foley's grotesque murder. The president, said McCain, said all the right things in his speech about Foley... until he got to the part about doing anything in response.
To be clear, McCain advocates a dramatically stepped-up bombing campaign of ISIS forces in Syria and Iraq, not American boots on the ground. But all Obama would say is that the U.S. would work to "contain" ISIS, which frustrated McCain to no end.
"You don't contain these people. They're a virus."

STFU John McCain ..... I don't need to hear from you about how President Obama doesn't get it.
Al Qaeda and ISIS's influence in the Iraq region is a result of Cheney & w's unneeded war in Iraq. The people who
lived through our November 2004 assualt on Fallujah might very well be members of ISIS right now.

'Lack of interest???!!!' Does he really expect PrezO, or ANY president, to spell out the detail of the steps being taken?
More he talks (which he does so often,) more he sounds un-American to me.
Wrong on Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, the GI Bill, Don't Ask - Don't Tell, Pretty much wrong on everything. But he still gets trotted out on the Sunday morning talk shows. 
SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN -- WRONG ON ARMING SYRIAN REBELS
As far back as 2012, John McCain was advocating the arming of Syrian rebels. And he continued that call through 2013 and beyond. For some reason, folks in Washington paid attention to that. Here, John McCain was advocating arming the same folks who killed American troops. He even went to Syria and took a picture with them. And so, we sent small arms over to Syria. And what happened?
A particular segment of the rebels -- ISIS -- consolidated a bunch of the territory in Syria, including oil wells, using some of those arms. This allowed them funding, and an extended campaign across Syria and into Iraq, raiding the Iraqi Army of its American-made vehicles and weapons - military equipment that was only there because of Senator McCain's support for an invasion of Iraq in the first place.
In many ways, all the moves that Senator McCain supported allowed ISIS to form and grow. There is no organized insurgency in Syria. Rebels fight with rebels who fight with rebels. There was no possible course of action that would have allowed moderate rebels to fight ISIS. That is simply the words of something afraid to admit their opinions on Syria have let to chaos in Iraq.
