Multiple suspensions paint complicated portrait of Trayvon Martin

Source: Miami Herald

In October, a school police investigator said he saw Trayvon on the school surveillance camera in an unauthorized area “hiding and being suspicious.” Then he said he saw Trayvon mark up a door with “W.T.F” — an acronym for “what the f---.” The officer said he found Trayvon the next day and went through his book bag in search of the graffiti marker.

Instead the officer reported he found women’s jewelry and a screwdriver that he described as a “burglary tool,” according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald. Word of the incident came as the family’s lawyer acknowledged that the boy was suspended in February for getting caught with an empty bag with traces of marijuana, which he called “irrelevant” and an attempt to demonize a victim.

Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds.

Zimmerman's story did not pass the initial smell test because why would some kid attack a man for following him. However, assuming this is true and there is no conclusive evidence of that, Martin would have had an extensive history of theft, drugs and vandalism. That sort of makes it slightly more likely that Zimmerman was telling the truth about being attacked.

Then how in the world does Zimmerman have self-defense as an excuse? The boy is dead and now is on trial for his life-- well, it's too late! Trayvon already met his judge, jury and executioner in the form of George Zimmerman.

Tue Mar 27, 2012, 02:04 AM

Zimmerman's 911 call is pretty clear. Trayvon came toward him then ran away.

When Zimmerman made the call, he said he was near the recreation center. Trayvon died halfway between the recreation center and the house toward with he was headed. This strongly suggests that Trayvon was running away and that Zimmerman followed.

This is the most likely chain of events, and it supports the idea that Zimmerman followed and attacked Trayvon.

That jewelry and a screwdriver were found in Trayvon's schoolbag is not relevant to what happened on the night that Trayvon died. Zimmerman had no knowledge of who Trayvon was or what had happened to Trayvon at school.

An "extensive history of theft, drugs and vandalism"?

Hum, interesting extrapolation from one minor graffitti incident, an empty dime bag and mere rumors of some jewellery and a screw driver in a backpack...

the notion that he acted characteristically by doing something to provoke Trayvon, such as shoving him.

Trayvon has no known history of violence; so, any indication of it in this case would indicate something
extra-ordinary happened. As the initiator of violence in all reported cases involving Zimmeran, his record suggests
he stared the fight with Martin.

Time to take the kid gloves off, folks. Time to smear this Zimmerman fuck and everyone who supports him into the ground like the nasty little bug he is.

Fuck it. The right projects their evil fantasia onto us anyway. Might as well be guilty of the crime we're accused of.

I personally have footage of Zimmerman f***ing a horse's left nostril.

Thanks for giving some dignity to a thread which had been an attempted flying leap at misinformation, distortion, and treachery toward someone none of them ever knew.

After this event has been well considered, the teacher's comments will be remembered far, far longer than the nasty backstabbing dishonest attempts made to highjack the actual truth of the matter by racist, rabid right-wingers.

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) -- The parents of a slain Florida teenager are blaming police for leaking information about their son being suspended for marijuana and details about the fight he had with the shooter that portrayed the teen as the aggressor.

Trayvon Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton, and family attorneys said Monday that it was part of an effort to demonize her 17-year-old son who was shot and killed last month by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

"They killed my son and now they're trying to kill his reputation," Fulton told reporters.

you and I agree. That Zimmerman isn't a mental patient yet doesn't change it either. Sane or insane, legally or illegally Trayvon did not merit being shot in the street by anybody. This "stand your ground" is a law that makes the illegal legal.

Burglary tool? It's a fucking screwdriver. It's not illegal to carry a screwdriver. Neither is it illegal to carry jewelry. An empty bag with mj "residue"? There is no crime nor penalty for an immeasurable residue.

This is the biggest post mortem lynching I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Regardless if Zimmerman is brought up on state murder charges, he should be indicted on violating Trayvon's civil rights. This is precisely what these federal laws were intended.
