and she was lukewarm to him and didn't like Gibbs.

I always felt that the job was always difficult and notably under this current President, the job was brutal. I do wish him well too.

Maybe he was thinking about it and already told Obama he would go and then the Sinseki thing blew up in their faces and how he HAS to go and go quickly...

No amount of money could entice me to do that job for even a day.

Maybe Obama should have went the Bush route and replaced his Press Secretary with some hot blond female, preferably one that would have been a lot smarter than Bush's, but I honestly think a female would have been handled easier with the press, and would be able to get the Obama Administrations message across on issues where others have failed....

Just a Thought But Jay Carney did a wonderful job especially in the environment of the press over the course of he past few years...

I wish him the best of luck in all future endeavors, he has served the President & our Party, and our Nation Well!!!
