Helicopter crash lands on UNM Hospital roof

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —A helicopter crash landed on the roof of University of New Mexico Hospital Wednesday night just before 6 p.m.
.

Authorities said there were three people on board the chopper when it crashed. The pilot was injured. The extent of his injuries are unknown. The other two crew members are OK.

None of the three people on board were patients.

scarier than crash landing in a helicopter would be crash landing on a hospital roof.

I sure hope the one injury is not a serious one.

A witness told Action 7 News he saw the helicopter lift off, and then it started to wobble back and forth. The witness said the helicopter jerked one last time before it crashed.

If you're going to crash, do it a a hospital.

One of the others in town wisely put the helipad on the ground.
