(11,733 posts)At around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Menlo Park police were called to the campus on 1 Hacker Way to investigate a tip from the San Francisco Police Department about a threat. The Menlo Park police later determined that it was not a credible threat, officials said.
The specifics surrounding the threat were not disclosed.
Police cordoned off the main entrance of the campus with yellow tape while a K-9 unit searched the parking lot. Officers were randomly inspecting vehicles as they exited the campus.
Employees of the social media company can be seen loading into buses and driving away in their cars at around 9:30 p.m. One worker told KRON 4 that staff was evacuated.

(619 posts)Why does a social media company need a police officer @ 200,000 dollars a year ? You know the PO isn't going to see anywhere near 200,000 Or maybe its Robo Cop.
