Saudi Arabia backs global ‘terrorism’: Iraq PM

Source: AFP

BAGHDAD: Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki accused Saudi Arabia of supporting global “terrorism,” both inside the Arab world and in other countries, in an interview broadcast on Saturday. Maliki, in an interview with France 24, slammed “the dangerous Saudi stance” of supporting “terrorism in the world – it supports it in Syria and Iraq and Lebanon and Egypt and Libya and even in countries outside” the Arab world.

“They are attacking Iraq, through Syria and in a direct way, and they announced war on Iraq,” the premier said.

“These two countries are primarily responsible for the sectarian and terrorist and security crisis of Iraq.” Maliki, a Shia Arab, said accusations that he was marginalising Iraq's Sunni minority, were being pushed by “sectarians with ties to foreign agendas with Saudi and Qatari incitement.”

He said Riyadh and Doha were providing political, financial and media support to militant groups and accused them of “buying weapons for the benefit of these terrorist organisations.”—AFP

The only people who wouldn't have a clue about what Maliki is saying are bottom feeders of the US MSM, who are paid to prove that they haven't a clue what's going on.

and/or business interests keeping these conflicts going. They won't stop until they've settled things out and they need to do this alone. JMHO.

People in positions of high power and authority should always speak their minds openly and fully in the public forum.

getting at the source of the terror. For some reason we aren't interested in that. And by we, I mean the Resident and his "administration".

I mean when I listen to the news and a bunch of people are killed, or a car bomb, or some other awful thing it's nearly always Sunni terrorists killing Shiites.

I think Iran would be our ally if we didn't have such a history with them and if Israel didn't hate them. Iran and Iraq have common cause because all the Sunni states are funding groups to kill their citizens simply because they believe in a different type of Islam.

Until the Middle East develops a secular vein in their societies we are going to see a continual low level sectarian war across all the countries there.

The Sad part is there are a LOT of well educated people there, some beautiful and historic places, lots of natural resources, really everything that could really make for a good economy and happy people but their stupid religion and tribalisim is fucking it up.

secular if we and the Russians hadn't kept fucking around over there. It's hard to get secular when outside groups keep killing or ousting your leaders to keep the pot stirred up.
