KABUL, Afghanistan February 12, 2014 (AP)

NATO says two men in Afghan uniforms have shot dead two service members in the international coalition.

Wednesday's attack in the east of the country appears to be the latest in a series of insider attacks on foreign forces.

The NATO-led coalition said more information would be released later after an investigation into what happened.

Two American soldiers killed in Afghan 'insider' attack: officials

(Reuters) - Men in Afghan army uniforms turned their weapons on American forces in eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing two U.S. soldiers and wounding four others, officials said.

An Afghan Interior Ministry official said the shooting took place in Kapisa province, just north of the capital, Kabul.
