Patrick Murphy, Iraq vet and former congressman, to get MSNBC show

Patrick Murphy, the Iraq war vet and former Pennsylvania congressman, has been tapped to host a weekend show on MSNBC, the network announced this week.
The show, which is called "Taking the Hill," is billed as a conversation about veterans issues" and issues affecting the veteran community as they navigate their postwar lives. It is set to begin airing this Sunday at 1 p.m.

(1,668 posts)The PA Patrick Murphy may have been a Blue Dog (boooooooo) but I like him anyway. He seems pretty progressive for a Blue Dog.
Patrick Murphy (D?-FLA) was worth electing to get rid of Allen West, but they should really be looking for a real democrat for that seat down there. Florida Patrick Murphy is just an opportunistic republican.
