(Allyson) Schwartz claims Corbett sees her as 'strongest and most serious threat'

Gov. Tom Corbett's re-election campaign has taken the unusual step of targeting Democratic gubernatorial frontrunner Allyson Schwartz early because it "assumes" the Montgomery County congresswoman will be the 2014 Democratic gubernatorial nominee.
Schwartz, speaking to reporters at the state Capitol before meeting with the House Democratic caucus, said she's been singled out by the governor's campaign because she is the biggest threat to his re-election.
“Gov. Corbett and the state (GOP) party is very concerned about my being the nominee,” she said. “They're taking me on already. You don't actually do that if you're not worried about the candidacy of your opponent.”
“We see it as the reality in a way that they've got to take me on already,” Schwartz added. “I think they see me as the strongest and most serious threat against them.”
