Kerrey (D) registers as Neb. voter

It is looking more and more like Kerrey is going to run.

The former Nebraska governor registered to vote in Douglas County on Tuesday, and also inquired about what he would have to do to file for office, said David Phipps, Douglas County Election Commissioner.

Registering to vote is one crucial step in establishing residency in Nebraska, after living 12 years in New York City.

Kerrey registered to vote using the address of his sister's home in Rockbrook neighborhood in west Omaha.
