Dad, 2 Adult Sons Arrested After Munitions, Underground Bunker Found On Property
Source: CBS Los Angeles
CABAZON (CBSLA.com) A Riverside County father and his two adult sons were in custody Tuesday after authorities found explosive munitions stored in an underground bunker at their residence.
Bruce Borynack, 49, Zachariah Borynack, 25, and Zephaniah Borynack, 23, of Cherry Valley, were arrested Sunday at a residence in the 10000 block of Nancy Ave. around 9:20 a.m. after authorities served a search warrant on the property, according to the Riverside County Sheriffs Department.
Prior to serving the search warrant, Bruce and Zachariah Borynack were seen driving away from the residence, authorities said.
A traffic stop conducted in the area of Oak Valley Parkway and Oak View Drive in the city of Beaumont revealed an unidentified number of explosives in the vehicle, according to officials.

I saw another link where his son (in 2011) was arrested after "speeding from a brush fire"he had explosives in his vehicle.

The father's (Bruce) FaceBook page has a scary post that makes him sound like he's at the end of his rope.
They probably caught these guys just in time. These guys sound like bad news.
Okay, I'm looking into this too much.

I don't use that name, I go by my middle name, though.

(9,123 posts)Thanks for posting. I sent them the link. Sadly, they're Obama haters and probably felt a kinship to others who flea the city for the mountain areas. To their credit they've complained about L.A. forever and felt this way long before Obama.

(5,610 posts)This is different with the stockpile of explosives (only?).
A lot of Americans have no faith left in "our" system (govt.=economy=police state=poor=govt.) it is all a viscous cycle to them.
The govt. has no accountability to us, wall st. has become the govt., the police state protects the wealthy but not the citizens, everyone except the wealthy are getting more poor, back to wall st. (govt.)
I have witnessed this "preparing for the crash" behavior for years but it has become pretty mainstream. Now I can understand it.

You don't have to believe in a societal collapse to understand that these thing are necessary, a mere outlier weather event would suffice.

I had neighbors up here with "bomb shelters" during the big "red scare" -
even went in one while in grade school - and yeah, they had weapons alright.
They were one of the few who had shelters nearby, and were well aware that others may try to get in if the "bomb" was dropped.
We had nukes up here then, supplied by USA's government; - they SAID they've been removed from our soil,
but who to trust? Certainly not our HarperDude.
The silos still exist less than 50 miles away from where I live,
I know this because less than 10 years ago I drove employees by cab up to the secure site -
had to drop them off outside a guarded tunnel - that was around 2003 -
so - if those silos are dysfunctional (which I do not believe for a nanosecond)
why all the security?
