BEDFORD, Ohio - More than 1,000 people will be laid off when a Bedford company shuts down later this year.
Ben Venue Laboratories Inc. in Bedford has decided to stop production by the end of 2013, a company spokeswoman said.
The closure will affect all of the companys 1,100 employees during a phased staff reduction beginning this month.

(7,261 posts)Kasich reneged on a funding agreement with the oldest family-owned furniture manufacturer in the country, also based in Bedford. They closed their doors after 150+ years.
Now this. I don't know how much more Kasich we can take up here in NE Ohio.
