"The Government of Pakistan strongly condemns the U.S. drone strike that took place near Miranshah, North Waziristan today. These unilateral strikes are a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the Foreign Ministry said.

A Foreign Ministry statement said Pakistan has repeatedly emphasized the importance of bringing an immediate end to drone strikes.

"The Government of Pakistan has consistently maintained that drone strikes are counter-productive, entail loss of innocent civilian lives and have human rights and humanitarian implications. "

However, if they engage in terrorist acts, they should be droned and Pakistan can go fuck itself (which it is very good at.)

a vast majority of terrorism in the subcontinent and beyond.

Jamaat-ud-dawa, Lashkar-e-tayyaba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Afghani Taliban and Al Q'aeda were all founded, funded, armed and trained by Pakistan. In case of Al Q'aeda, at Ronald Reagan's behest. Taliban was started to occupy and control Afghanistan with a majority of the fighters active duty military of Pakistan. (Google "Kunduz airlift" where Dubya was hoodwinked by Musharraf to get his military people out during the Afghan war)

The other groups were started to attack India in Mumbai, Kashmir, Banglore and other places of economic growth and to create a proxy war with India. (See Kargil invasion where Pakistan had to withdraw forces they claimed were "freedom fighters" under Bill Clinton's threat)

Daniel Pearl was murdered by the Pakistani ISI because he was close to finding out the proof of Pakistani complicity in terrorist acts and the Taliban.

Pakistan has now lost control of a lot of these groups and under intense pressure from the West to rein these groups in, Pakistan is now in the crosshairs of the terrorists. The indoctrination was so intense that Pakistanis are unable to undo it anymore.

...for the innocent kids blown to bits by hellfire missiles. How nice.

Just recently there was an endless parade of pictures of dead kids here on DU and justified outrage that this was morally intolerable.
But it's okay if the US/NATO does it on a near daily basis.

You don't see how this could be counterproductive?
Isolated drone strikes achieve nothing but dead people and more hate.
