Rick Perry to tour Maryland gun factory

Source: pOLITICO

Texas Republican Gov. Rick Perry will visit a gun manufacturer in Maryland as part of his push to lure businesses to the Lone Star State, according to a report.

Perry will tour the factory of Beretta USA in Accokeek, Md., on Wednesday, according to CNN. Perry has gone after several Democratic governors lately, airing radio ads in California, New York, Missouri, Connecticut and, most recently, Maryland, to try to lure businesses to the Lone Star State.

Firearms are popular in Texas. I'm sure that many residents of Texas would enjoy working for a firearms manufacturer and they may be far more familiar with firearms than potential workers in states like Maryland.

Maybe Perry should go to holster manufacturers instead. He's obviously got plenty of leather since he's knee deep in bull shit.

He's running ads in several states where taxes are high or going up. He is trying to lure businesses into Texas from higher taxed areas. I am from MD hear his ad all the time. MDs eastern shore is a very conservative , gun lobby area, so not sure if it will work...maybe
