A viral clip of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) ripping into the hosts of CNBC's "Squawk Box" has been removed from the senator's YouTube channel.
According to a message on YouTube, NBC Universal requested that the video be taken down on copyright grounds.
A CNBC spokesperson did not immediately return a request for comment.
Warren appeared on "Squawk Box" last Friday to tout her proposed update of the Glass-Steagall Act. The bill, introduced by Warren and Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) and Angus King (I-Maine) is aimed at reining in risk at the nation's biggest banks. During the interview, Warren countered CNBC's Brian Sullivan on the assertion that financial regulation can't prevent banks' risky bets.

That's a sign Warren PWNED those CNBC bots so badly.
CNBC.com has the video at http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?play=1&video=3000182337
CNBC's YouTube channel uploaded the full segment on Friday:

(3,363 posts)It was informative, and she answered the badgering (!) talking heads matter-of-dactyl.
She gives me hope that TV, the Internet, and conversation in general may one day return to a level of civility.

(5,927 posts)Who are these fucking assholes she's talking to? Good grief, the tv has gotten so stupid it's blinding.
Funny to hear how Thom, after all these years, still sports a Michigan accent.
Ye GODZ how good would it feel to be able to vote for this woman for President? Make it so.....

(21,056 posts)who are those f*cking assholes! the TV hurts when I watch it, I don't know how these wonderful people watch this mess for us all to find these clips. lol
yeah, it'd be pretty awesome to vote her in as the first female president of the USA... almost chilling. I got emo in 2008 with the 1st American minority candidate winning, and well, also because shortly after I told everyone in Sacramento, worried McCain could still pull it out, "stop, it's OVER, they're done!", the results came in, and my joy went to sadness minutes later when it was obvious prop 8 had passed! But fortunately, that's all going downstream, and with a Pres. Warren, more walls would fall! Let's make it SO!

They know it's about to get REAL. Promissory notes unpaid, debts/money frozen inside BIS computers. Time to skirmish and sew confusion. So they send out the disinfo troopers like these MSM morons at CNBC. You remember them, don't you? They're the ones when we were in high school who was always asking you to let them copy your homework because they forget to do it.
But 'Fessa Lizbeth kicks some slovenly layabout booty didn't she? And NBC, who would normally just love for others to spread their Brand around the internet like some kind of infectious disease (which it is), are now crying like a little girls beggin the bad ol' mean lady to stop making her cry!!!

I am laughing so hard at how long and how often Elizabeth Warren has beating the bare asses of schmucks in the financial industry (including the big zeroes at CNBC who propagate that shit).
Hopefully they know this will cause the video to go viral by anyone who happened to record it JUST TO PISS OFF NBC bean counters.

(8,933 posts)but then again, it is a clip and not the whole show. It would appear that they had it removed because she pwned them. looks bad for them. If she had been yelling at them they probably would have kept it up. question.... is it available at cnbc site?

MsLeopard
(1,265 posts)so I'm happy to share. It seems there was a computer game that a lot of people play and when someone got the better of someone else the message was supposed to read - So and so got owned. The message was typed wrongly and came out "pwned." Yep - that started it all!

(262 posts)I watched the clip several times and thought that "Yes, she knows just what she's talking about." But, to get the fools on CNBC to agree with her and against their Wall Street buddies is another task. I wish Stuart Varney would invite her on his morning show but, we all know that ain't going to happen!! That guy just pisses me off so much about how he idolizes CAPITALISM and all the Wall Street crowd that nearly brought the country to it's knees!! But, as we know, Varney would be no match for Elizabeth when it comes to financial matters. In fact he still supports the AUSTERITY in Europe!! Just a another talking head on Fix so-called business news!!

(5,610 posts)tells the truth (sad, huh?). Senator Warren was stating facts that everyone should know.
I would love for her to introduce a bill calling for the reinstatement of THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE.
That would really make their talking heads explode. Forcing "their news" to be honest and allow free air-time to anyone with a different view?
The people would (once again) be well informed instead of dumbed down.

(36,747 posts)We even tried forming a central bank after the 1907 panic to stop the banking crises. The Federal Reserve in turn added fuel to the fire in 1927 with cheaper money, and became part of the problem. Only Glass-Steagall stopped the crises.
We need to make the change now.
