Investors pushed the Dow to a new trading high early Thursday as they wait for the latest missive from Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke.
The Dow Jones industrial average gained 82 points, or 0.5%, hitting a record high of 15,552.70.

- Well so much for Obama being a Socialist Marxist!
- This is great for the 1% but not for the rest of us.
- It's a bubble. Just wait, it's going to totally crash very soon. As I have been predicting for the last several years.
- But it's good for my 401k.
- I don't care about your 401k. It's better for the 1%, and I hate them.

(5,764 posts)An 'economic system' that is based on greed and avarice is always bad, and will eventually collapse entirely. Modern human society needs a system that is truly designed to distribute resources in an equitable manner that reflects the reality of universal physical laws that govern the conversion, utilization and dissipation of matter and energy. The current system uses smoke, mirrors and deceit, to increasingly funnel the worlds capital resources into the hands of elites.
