Costa Mesa man killed in house explosion; 3 pipe bombs found during search
Source: ABC
An investigation is under way in Costa Mesa following a house explosion that killed a 52-year-old man and forced neighbors to evacuate Sunday.
* * *
Authorities said the man was not fond of government agencies or law enforcement. No other information was released but neighbors say officers were often called to the home.
Neighbors said the man kept to himself and seemed strange but they had no idea there were explosives inside his home.
"It's really creepy having them pull out all of these explosives when you never really knew that that was there," Genovesio said.

It is really scary that this anti-government and law enforcement lunatic had several other IEDs in his house. I guess we are fortunate that he only hurt himself and not others with all these explosives that he built.

(2,593 posts)with such rage. People like this man apparently don't have anything positive in their lives and they are just consumed by anger and hate.
Sad.

Doesn't that make sense?

(29,414 posts)But there's no profit motive. Far more people do drugs than make bombs, and there's money to be made in the Prison Industrial Complex.
A sane country, or one that doesn't allow its corporations to dictate policy, would have already been doing as you suggest (as you can see in many of the northern-European countries.)

All I can do is keep trying to follow in the footsteps of the masters, i.e., "be the change," and hope a lot more other people do, too.

It is creepy, not knowing who is doing what in the next house or the next neighborhood.

It seems he was laying outside on his lawn and neighbors called for an ambulance. He turned down treatment, went back inside, and 2 hours later blew himself up.

(70,103 posts)please refrain from amateur psyche dx. it is hurtful to the many members struggling with conditions like bp to have people equate someone like this with their condition.

(24,146 posts)playing armchair psych is hurtful to those of us who do have a diagnosis. how on earth can you diagnose someone just based on their writing, anyway?

(804 posts)I'll be sure not to do that again.
