Lane Rees, Florida GOP Committeeman, Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Lane Rees, a former Walton County Commissioner and its elected Republican state committeeman, has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Rees was taken into custody at about 5 p.m. Monday at his Santa Rosa Beach home after deputies served a search warrant, Walton County Sheriff Mike Adkinson said.

He has been charged with possession of child pornography. Adkinson said “multiple images” were found at the home.

“Corroborating evidence” supporting the charges “was found at the home,” Adkinson said. “He has for sure got some pretty significant images.”

Those who run on the side of morals and values do not have them. They're usually the first to lie, cheat, steal, sell out or disown family members, and in this case - child porn. Fuck these clowns. One day they will all get caught.

13. A lesson I learned

at an early age.

My dad bought a truck from your stereotypical white-bread, "devoutly Christian" family. They neglected to tell him everything that was wrong with it, and he had to put a good deal of money into fixing it back up.

The next vehicle he bought, several years later, was from a guy who could've been a stereotypical gangbanger. However, the young man in this case told him what work the car needed, had all the service records - including from the original owner as well as his - and let my dad take it to a nearby shop to get it looked it. He even knocked down his asking price 10%.

That young man's honesty saved my dad a lot of headaches.
