Texas DA was shot 20 times, wife once, federal source says

Source: NBC

A Texas district attorney was shot 20 times and his wife Cynthia was shot once when they were gunned down in their home on Saturday, a federal source with knowledge of the investigation told NBC News.

Earlier, an affidavit in the case said each of the victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The reason for the discrepancy was unclear.
The slayings of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia have rocked the semi-rural town on the eastern outskirts of Dallas and beyond.

The brazen direct attack on the justice official comes weeks after Colorado's prison director Tom Clements was shot to death at his home, with a paroled white supremacist ex-con killed in a Texas shootout the main suspect.

... its possible the two aren't mutually exclusive.

There were reports a few years ago on white supremacists were in cahoots with the mexican cartels.

No stone unturned I think is a good policy here.

That's why state a federal officials are probing white supremacist organizations. We already know the Colorado prison chief was killed by a white supremacist.

Now the Kaufman County DA himself was killed.

Only an idiot would think this is "the cartels".

Right wingers are idiots. According to them, white people never commit crimes so it has to be "the cartels."

Right wing boards believe evolution is a lie, global warming is a lie, guns make people safer, there were WMD in Iraq, the United States doesn't torture, Obama is a socialist Muslim, Nazi, Kenyan-born dictator, corporations and banks will police themselves, and God hates gays. So if you want to be continually "amused" at the incessant stupidity of the right, go ahead. Personally I wouldn't even give them the slightest bit of credence at all.

You left off just a couple other doozies:

- cigarettes don't cause cancer
- CO2 is not really harmful, in fact its food for trees!!!
- deficits don't matter, until the other guys are in charge, and then they are essential
- Africa is a country
- Putin raises up his head to start mischief in Alaska all the time.
- There is such a place as "Real" America
- war is peace
- hate is love
- division is the best way to unity
- 2+ 2 = 5
- Romney is STILL ahead in the polls
- Glenn Beck is wise
- Rush Limbaugh is sane
- Mike Huckabee has a chance to be President
- Obamacare is driving the deficit
- America's schools were better with prayer

Other than those, and many more that I missed, and the ones you already listed, the voices on the right are correct a lot.

The background cause is either stupid drug laws compounded by social iniquity compounded by stupid immigration policy, or direct Rightist Hate and violence. Either way, Right wing policies are the basic cause of the events.

Im not saying that Democrats are blameless. But I do believe that you will find Democratic voters, at the very least, to be much less inclined to support stupid drug law when alternatives are available.

4. Race Riot In Arizona Prison
Tue Apr 2, 2013, 04:07 PM
Apr 2013

It might seem an unlikely alliance to some but it's not out of the realm of possibility where these gangs formed in prison are concerned.

It happened Sunday at the Whetstone Unit of Arizona State Prison Complex in Tucson.
The riot involved 300 white and Mexican inmates fighting against 100 Africa-American prisoners and started around 9.45 a.m. in the unit which houses 1,250.
At least 17 inmates were injured during the free-for-all and two prison staffers suffered minor injuries – The extent of the inmates’ injuries wasn’t immediately available…
