Pipeline ruptures, sending oil into Lake Conway

MAYFLOWER, Ark. (KTHV) - Cleaning up what's left of an oil spill is now the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management's (ADEM) main concern.
According to the Mayflower Police Chief, no contamination actually made its way into the nearby Lake Conway, but it did seep into some drainage areas. Right now the main focus is to clean everything up as soon as possible.
Earlier Friday, public information officer Brandon Morris said a crude oil pipeline, owned by Exxon, ruptured near Mayflower, and the spill was making it way to toward the lake.
Video began rolling in to the THV 11 Newsroom showing the crude oil rolling through the gutters of a neighborhood, bubbling up from the ground, and washing through drainage ditches.

A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed
But then one day he was shootin' at some food
When up from the ground came a'bubblin' crude
Somehow, I don't think anyone near Lake Conway will be moving to Beverly Hills as a result of this.
