Not just the football teams and basketball teams but tennis, golf, etc.

TCU (Waco Texas) was at one point going to be in the Big East (that conference has dissolved too). The girls tennis teams away games would be in Philly (Villanova), New Jersey (Seton Hall), DC (Georgetown) and so forth. Ridiculous.

Conference USA has Marshall football FLYING to El Paso, New Orleans, Orlando instead of taking a bus to Miami (OH), Akron, VMI,etc.

My guy's son coaches college men's lacrosse. They do some really long rides to play other school. 8-9 hours driving is, in my opinion, too much for any one person in one shot...especially without stops.
