George P. Bush Runs For Texas Office

Source: AP/TPM

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — George P. Bush is officially running for Texas land commissioner — ending months of speculation about which statewide office the grandson of one former president and nephew of another planned to seek.

His spokesman, Trey Newton told The Associated Press that Bush spoke with current Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson before filing the official paperwork Tuesday.

An attorney from Fort Worth and Spanish-speaker whose mother is originally from Mexico, Bush is considered a rising star among conservative Hispanics.

Land commissioner can be a stepping stone to higher office in Texas. Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst served in the post before winning his current job.

Besides, Republicans are above the law. Just like Laura killing her ex boyfriend. They do the crime and walk away clean.

Here's all you need to know about Lil' Ricky:

So TSG wasn't too surprised to learn that "P" was involved ina troubling 1994 incident described in this Metro-Dade Police Department report. On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He proceeded to break into the house via the woman's bedroom window, and then began arguing with his ex's father. Bush, then a Rice University student, soon fled the scene. But he returned 20 minutes later to drive his Ford Explorer across the home's front lawn, leaving wide swaths of burned grass in his wake. Young Bush avoided arrest when the victims declined to press charges.

Little P Bush is a bonehead, a rowdy fratboy who's lived a privileged life. Texan Republicans fall for this shit all the time... and getting the GOP nom is the same as getting elected in statewide politics. He ain't done shit in the Agriculture business, so who knows why he picked this office, except of course as a springboard to something bigger in four or eight years, whenever Governor-for-life Perry decides to pull a Benedict.
